Problemas epistemológicos de la psicología
Synopsis
Desde hace ya muchas décadas la psicología ha constituido un objeto de sumo interés para el examen epistemológico, examen desarrollado no sólo por los filósofos sino también por los propios psicólogos.
El objetivo de este libro es el de presentar un panorama actualizado de varios problemas epistemológicos fundamentales de la psicología, que incluye el estudio tanto de interrogantes clásicamente tratados en la filosofía, como el problema mente-materia, como el de otros más cercanos a los intereses de la psicología contemporánea, como el problema de la unidad y la pluralidad teórica en la disciplina. Asimismo, y a diferencia de la gran mayoría de los manuales introductorios al tema, se ha extendido el alcance del análisis epistemológico para abarcar aquellos problemas característicos de los niveles a veces denominados “aplicados” de la psicología, como los relativos a la naturaleza de las tecnologías y de las prácticas expertas propias de la disciplina
